David is a 28-year business attorney. He spent the first 15 years of his legal career in Kansas City, Missouri with the Polsinelli law firm (a business law firm presently known as Polsinelli Shughart with 480 lawyers), where he was a full equity shareholder and a member of the board of directors. David's practice at Polsinelli focused primarily on mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and the representation of entrepreneurs and their private companies.
After moving to Eugene, Oregon, David became the business department chair at Harrang Long Gary Rudnick P.C., where he continued representing entrepreneurs and was lead counsel in a number of private company M&A transactions. During that time, he also served as outside general counsel to a multinational Japan-based corporation, providing advice in trade secret and proprietary information protection, technology-sharing arrangements, joint ventures, technology licensing, vendor and supplier contracting, capital equipment purchasing, customer contracting and executive compensation.
Since co-founding Endeavor Law Group, David has narrowed the focus of his practice to the representation of start-up and emerging companies. David brings his formidable general business experience, tax knowledge and creative thinking ability to the assistance of the firm's clients in the areas of deal structure, M&A, executive compensation, commercial transactions, licensing and technology transfer.

Katherine is a 19-year business attorney whose practice focuses on securities law, franchise law, corporate governance, capital formation issues and mergers and acquisitions.
Katherine began practicing law at large firms in Indianapolis, Indiana (Ice Miller LLP, with 250+ lawyers), and Portland, Oregon (Stoel Rives LLP, with 365+ lawyers), where she focused on business and securities law work, for the most part representing public companies or companies in the process of going public. At those firms, she assisted with initial and follow-on public offerings, advised public companies regarding their SEC reporting obligations and disclosure issues, and represented public companies engaged in mergers and acquisitions.
Since relocating to Eugene, Oregon and then co-founding Endeavor Law Group, Katherine has changed her practice focus from public companies to private ones. She now advises and assists companies with private placements ranging from seed financing rounds to angel investment and venture capital financing. She also counsels start-ups on business structure and assists them with entity formation, business plan review, agreements among owners and agreements with key employees; and she advises both franchisors and franchisees on compliance with federal and state franchise laws.
Katherine works with a variety of start-up and emerging companies in the Willamette Valley.
